The Strategic Communications Assessment is a short-term consulting partnership, designed to look at your church's communications and discover what’s wrong, suggest ideas on how to improve, and provide a detailed strategic pathway forward.

Through a combination of discovery sessions and behind the scenes evaluations, we’ll create a SWOT analysis of your church’s communications and marketing, followed by detailed a strategic pathway.

During our time, we’ll look at the following four areas

Assessment Process

Assessments typically last two-weeks and involves three steps

STEP 1

Discovery Session

We start with two-hour discovery sessions via zoom either either a point person or your team. The goal is to learn about the communications vision, history, culture, logistics and personal perspective. After this session we’ll evaluate your platforms and designs on our own.

STEP 2

SWOT & Strategy

Next we’ll create a detailed SWOT Analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) in order to discover what’s working, what’s not working, what’s possible and what could get in the way. Also in your assessment we’ll create a strategic pathways how to make improvements.

STEP 3

Debrief Session

Once we’ve sent you your Assessment, we’ll schedule a one-hour debrief session where we’ll review your assessment with your and answer any question you may have. This is your time to get clarity or find our what it would look like to partner with Clearpath.

WHO DOES THE ASSESSMENT?

All of our assessments are administered and completed by Josh Wierenga (Chief Simplifier) and Amber Bosman (Project Simplifier). Together we’ll get to know your team, walk through each of the three areas of church communications.

 
 
 

Josh Wierenga

Josh launched Clearpath in 2016 out of a desire to see normal-sized churches create and maintain effective communication. In that time, Josh has consulted with over 75 churches, where he’s helped teams like yours clarify and maximize their communications and marketing ministries.

 
 

Amber Bosman

Amber is the Project Simplifier at Clearpath and comes alongside our church partnerships to organize, guide and equip. In our assessment partnerships, Amber takes care of all administrative responsibilities so our church partners can get the most out of their assessment.

We understand the prospect of overhauling your communications is overwhelming and that’s it’s a significant investment for any church. The Strategic Assessment exists in order to give you full clarity on the process, goals, and costs before you make the investment. Therefore, we price our Strategic Assessment to be as affordable as possible for small to midsized churches.

FAQs

  • Assessments are short term partnerships that takes 2-weeks from beginning to end.

  • Our assessment is a Google Doc that outlines how you’re doing in the four key areas of church communications with steps recommendations, including how long a strategic partnership would last, entail, and cost.

  • As many leaders from your church as you like. At the very least, we recommend including people who are directly involved in church communications, but it can be helpful to have church elders and administors involved as well.

  • We only charge $549 for the assessment. We keep the cost low because it’s important to us to provide clarity on both ends going into a strategic partnership.

  • Yes! In fact, many of our strategic partnership include our team building out and designing various aspects of your communications. But this is optional and can be discussed as we put together your strategic communications pathway.
