What is Church Communications Consulting?

Clearpath’s consulting is a short-term partnership that’s all about providing your church with clarity around it’s challenges, goals, current reality, and strategic next steps.

Consulting partnerships typically last four weeks and have the option of moving into a development or management partnership.

Why engage in comms consulting?

Church Communications is overwhelming for most churches. It’s fast paced and pastors usually aren’t trained for it. Our communications consulting helps churches overcome these challenges and find clarity. Here are some of the tangible ways your church will benefit from a partnership:

  • We’ll do a detailed analysis of each of the four areas of church communications using a combination of interview questions and internal analysis.

  • We’ll present a SWOT Analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats), which will give you clear sense of where you’re currently at.

  • The Church Communications Profile is ideal for helping your staff and leadership (elders, deacons, board) understand the challenges you face and make informed decisions about communications budget and priority.

  • Every partnership comes with a detailed church profile that includes information and finding from every step of our process. The PDF will be provided for you at the end of the partnership and is your to work with either internally or for future Clearpath partnerships. Profiles contain:

    • Summary of church, challenges and goals

    • 4-Part Assessment (Strategy, Team, Content, Systems) with SWOT Analysis

    • Strategic Pathway

    • Services & Pricing (Optional)

How does a consulting partnership work?

Clearpath consulting utilizes three steps, with corresponding meeting, in order to help you discern what helpful, healthy, next steps looks like for your church.

  • A coffee mug and a laptop on a wooden table, with a video conference call on the laptop screen showing multiple participants.

    DISCOVERY

    STEP 1

Your first meeting will be all about discovering your church communications journey, culture, and goals.

  • A person standing near a wall with numerous sticky notes attached to it, some of which are on a white paper sheet. The person appears to be reading or interacting with the notes in a bright room with blinds on the windows.

    ASSESSMENT

    STEP 2

Next we’ll spend time assessing your communications. This includes evaluating team, strategy, content, and systems.

  • A wooden desk with a laptop, a cup of coffee, a notepad with handwritten notes, a pen, and a smartphone, near a large window with natural light.

    STRATEGY

    STEP 3

Last, we’ll create a strategic pathway that fits your goals and resources. We’ll also provide a quote for upon request.
