The Small Church Communications Assessment
Welcome to the eCourse version on the assessment I’ve been doing with small churches for years! The goal is to walk you through each of the four main areas of church communications and help you assess where your church is at in each area, all from a small church perspective
This means I won’t be making you feel guilty for all the things you don’t have the time or resources to do, but simply help you get a sense of where you’re at and provide some helpful recommendations for how to take some steps forward.
The first lesson of this assessment if free and will give you a pretty good idea of what content I cover in the eCourse.
I hope you find this resource helpful for your small church’s communications journey!

Area #1: Team
A church communications team is a dedicated ministry that supports the church's various ministries by providing essential communications direction and support.
-
Area #2: Strategy
How do you reach new people? What process do they go through once they attend a service? Who follows through on this process? Your communications strategy connects the dots between every part of your comms ministry.
-
Area #3: Content
This module discusses the importance of content creation and its connection to branding. It emphasizes that content, including copywriting, graphic design, videography, and photography, should flow from a church's brand identity to ensure consistency.

Area #4: Systems
Last but not least, we're going to be talking about your systems. These are the platforms that you use to actually facilitate your communications and deliver your content.
